They bring it up to fire and start squeezing the trigger, emptying the magazine at their opponent. who raises their arm in an X shape in response. The denser bullets pierce the more solid parts of the arm, while tearing through the sides of the arm.
Cuby pushes off a raised part of the roof and slides away from their opponent. During the the slide they start to summon in Lycöan as Demexyana tries to chain grab them. The chains hit, but miss their mark, crushing parts of the roof. After every miss the chains rattle back to be soon launched again.
Cuby comes to a stop at the edge of the building, Lycöan and 2.0 in hand. 2.0 in sythe mode and Lyöan has it's ECC on. Cuby and Demexyana charge at each other, Cuby fires Lycöan. The bullets occasionally smack against the chains, missing quite a bit, though one out of the bunch hits Demexyana in the shoulder. As Demexyana shoots her chains at Cuby, Cuby uses 2.0 light blade to cut the chains. They meet each other and go into close quarter combat. The sound and glow of the chains being either cut or smacked echoes throughout the rooftops.
Cuby lands a few more hits on Demexyana as the thick chains smack against Cuby’s already injured ankle and across their back. The two fighters split and try to catch their breath.
