Legacy & War (Battle of Nippur)
#36
This kid's taunting was pathetic, I fought so much! Wah wah wah. Dean had stopped the apocalypse after being nearly beaten to death by Lucifer and had whined less about it.

“Fine, you want a fight then you got it.” Dean replaced the pistol into its holster, if they stayed in this room Dean might have a chance, it was better then fighting outside in the open. “Right here, right now until one of us is dead you little bitch.”

The Winchester didn't have to wait for an answer as a flurry of blows came his way. Some the demon was able to block, while many hit their mark. As the attacks came Dean noticed something, whenever the assassin attacked he was visible for a moment. For most people it might not have been much but this demon used to hunt ghosts, so things like this sometimes meant the difference between life and death.

Every time Dean was attacked he would slash wildly where Victor had been, most of the time hitting nothing, but a few times he saw a small splash of fresh blood that got the mark of Cain screaming in his soul. During all this he managed to back up closer to the wall behind him, making sure to stay close to cut down the possible directions this bastard could attack from. It also gave him access to the bottles of wine on the wall.

Victor would attack and then Dean would defend and chucked a bottle of wine at him and on it went, until the floor was covered in broken glass and wine. This time as Victor when to strike Dean hear the sound of popping glass, and he slashed wildly in that direction, though it showed no indication of hitting anything.

“Huh, you are not the mindless cretin I assumed you to be.” The young punks taunted him. “A cretin to be sure, but not absolutely mindless.”

Dean just snarled at Victor, chucking a bottle of wine purely out of spite. A plan was already formulating in his mind and he had to stick to it.

There was the creak of broken glass as Victor moved, the flash of his arm and dagger as he went to stab Dean, giving the demon what he needed to attack. Using a burst of speed he moved himself into the attack, forcing the dagger deeper into his side. The kid might have been fast, but no one expects an enemy to push himself INTO your attack!

Using the momentary confusion he grabbed the punk's arm and held tight. With physical contact made Dean opened his mouth and spewed out the sulphuric smoke that gave him just what he needed, a target to throw a mean right hook at. His punch just managed to make contact with Victor's jaw, not enough to shut the jackass up, but enough to break the invisibility.

The assassin yanked himself free from Dean and leaped back into the room. “That was a neat trick, but now you are all out of them, and looking pretty ragged there too.”

It was true that Dean was getting tired after using so much energy today, but he was not giving up. He was about to say so but something caught his attention, something at his side felt like it was on fire. Looking down the demon saw that blood from the dagger stuck in him was dripping down and landing on the colt, not his pistol but THE colt, and it was starting to burn with an energy that reminded Dean of the flames of hell.

“Nah,” Dean said, bringing up the first blade to cut a gash into the palm of his free hand. “I got one more.”

Taking hold of the colt with his bleeding hand Dean drew the weapon, and even then he could feel his blood soaking into the wooden grip. Cracks started to form in the wood, breaking the pentagram carved near the bottom of it, as a sinister red energy seemed to take hold deep inside it. The cracks wormed their way up the handle, like an infection taking root, and into the metal of the gun itself. Demonic runes etched themselves into the surface, covering up the Latin carved by the hands of Samuel Colt himself. The burning sensation seemed to increase as the inside of the barrel started to glow red, taking on an eerie and haunting look.

This weapon answered to a new master now.

“CNILA PADGZE OL VNPH, AR DS BIAH ASPT OLLOG GEMEGANZA LONCHO.” Dean chanted in Enochian as he pulled the trigger, “Good bye.”

A red flash coming from the weapon, the smell of sulphur filling the air, as a bullet surrounded by black and red flames flew at his opponent.

I won't mind if you attack my character or base with little to no warning!
