His movements were sudden, but from this distance she had ample time to defend herself. Their swords meet one another's steel with a loud clang. "Don't under-estimate your opponent. Stay focused, and be ready or you'll die where you stand. You're strong, but I'm not called the One-Cut Killer for nothing." Akame knew he may have had perceptions about her being weak due to her small stature, but even if Murasame's Curse was null right now, she is still a swordsman who should not be reckoned with. The red eyed girl threw her sword up on to his, attempting to throw Dawson of balance. This was successful. His arms flew up and Akame took her chance.
With a quick spin, her foot met his chest. He slid back on his heels a few feet and came to a stop. When Dawson looked back up to his opponent, he could see her already coming back for more. She was fast, not only on her feet, but with her sword as well. Keeping up with her would be a bit tough for Dawson if he didn't pay good enough attention to her movements. Their swords clashed again, a few times back and forth. Dawson didn't seem too fazed from the shot to the chest. '[b]Perhaps I need a little more time before I go on the offensive. He's still retaining his energy, even with that blow to the chest.[b/]' Amidst her train of thought, Akame felt pain in her leg from a low blow while she was formulating more on her strategy. She backed off, unfazed from the pain in her thigh in which the cut landed. Akame grinned as her next move came to mind.
Feint. She charged her opponent with what had looked like an obvious vertical slash, going for his head. His response was to step to his right, out of the way, and return with a horizontal slash to her back. This failed, as Akame wanted him to do this. She ducked under it and swiped her leg under his, knocking him off his feet and to the ground. This was followed by another slash where Akame had wished to end it. Unfortunately, Dawson was able to catch her blade with his. "I warned you," Akame said bluntly as she tried to force her sword past his. He was in a bad predicament here, if he didn't get off the ground soon, he wouldn't be getting off it anytime soon.
