Legacy & War (Battle of Nippur)
#25
Until Sinestro had decided to help, Dean had no idea what the hell he was going to do against an invisible opponent. He had thought about just slashing wildly in the air, but that little yellow light show had giving him the target he had wanted. Rushing forward Dean grabbed at his unseen adversary and felt his fingers grab the man's shirt, growling loudly as the first blade bit into flesh.

As he tore his blade free whatever had been keeping Victor invisible seemed to shatter, causing the demon to bear his teeth.

“I see you now, you little bitch!” he growled as he raised the first blade over his head and brought it down as hard as he could. This kid wasn't very strong, but he was skillful and a hell of a lot faster than Dean and that seemed to help him. The guy had brought up his own blades to block Dean's, and while Dean pushed through it with a show of brute force it had been knocked off target and sunk deep into his prey's shoulder.

Growling Dean pushed the dagger deeper, giving it a little twist as he did. Victor started to cry out in pain but then muffled it quickly glaring at his assailant. The kid was was tough that was for sure.

He was still going to die though.

Keeping him pinned to the ground, Dean sat up and opened his mouth, letting a sulphuric black smoke pour out in great volumes, already starting to swirl around the pinned assassin. As the putrid cloud kept his target distracted Dean held out his hand, the colt 1911 that he had dropped a foot or so flew back to him. Not taking the time to aim Dean just sat up, letting go of the hilt of his blade, and pointed the gun at the black cloud.

As his finger tenses to fire, a fist came flying out of the cloud and hit him square in the jaw, unsettling him enough for Victor to knock the blood thirsty demon off of him and into the sand. The demonic smoke evaporated as Victor rose to his feet, yanking Dean's dagger out of his shoulder then tossing it aside.

Victor looked like he was about to say something, but before he could the sound of someone clearing their throat high above him caused him to pause and turn around. Floating a few meters above the duo was Sinestro, ring at the ready and a sinister grin on his face. Victor saw the flash of yellow as the ring activated and dodged to the side, but instead of going for him the beam took hold of Dean.

"The woman in the air: weaken her," was all his ally said as the hard light construct took hold of Dean, preparing to launch him into the wide blue yonder. The demon opened his free hand and called the first blade to it as he looked at the recovering assassin.

“I'll be back.” was all he managed to say before Sinestro tossed the demon high into the sky, aiming for the woman he had previously tossed there. Once he was close enough he took aim and fired, the shot echoing through the sky. He then released the trigger and pulled it again.

After the second shot was fired, he excitedly pulled the trigger once more, but was met with a click having emptied out the entire clip. With no time to reload he put the gun in it's holster and yelled back down to Sinestro as he began to fall towards the sand below.

“THERE! GET ME BACK INTO THE GAME!” As Dean fell he noticed that without him around Victor had focused his attention on the yellow lantern instead, which meant that his allies attention was elsewhere and the lantern probably hadn't heard his call. The two below were trading blows back and forth, each bloodying up the other a bit with a flash of a dagger or a shot of yellow light.

Shit, this wasn't good. If he didn't get help soon he was going to hit the ground. Hard.

“UP HERE YOU FUCKS!” Dean screamed as he continued to fall, though this time thankfully it got a response from Sinestro. A flash of yellow surrounded the Winchester and started to solidify into what he could only describe as a series of elastic bands, as strange as they looked. They wrapped around his torso and then pulled him back before finally letting go and sending shot the demon forward.

Victor got ready, to run or to fight it was yet to be seen, as Dean flew at him like a bat out of hell, his blade aimed at the man's torso.

0/7 shots remain in the pistol. Needs reload.
Used Demon smoke once.
Driver picks the music, shotgun shuts his cake hole.

I won't mind if you attack my character or base with little to no warning!
