PvP Flags
#48
If someone would like for you to converse with them before attacking them AND it is not for a bounty, artifact, or base assault, then, whats the big deal with that Desco?

I agree that publicly shaming someone for pvp, when the site is built to create PVP moments is not cool, but that doesn't seem to be the case here.

I think Thaal's flag suggestion is great, though his presentation can, at some times, be shit. Still, there is nothing wrong with people wanting to be informed of attacks prior to them beginning.

I think the color system may have mislead you. Red doesn't mean "NO, STOP, DON'T PVP ME!" It literally means, "Yo, message me and collaborate with me on how we are going to go about this PVP."

So, it's not publicly shaming you if you do not adhere to the flags, but, if you are not wanting to collaborate then why are you on a collaborative style rpg?

I also don't think Desco had any intentions that were warn worthy, not that my opinion matters, but I did get the feeling that Desco misunderstood and thought RED meat he couldn't pvp someone in a case where the rules totally state he should be able to.

My understanding: Desco thought these flags prevented PVP from happening in situations where the rules allow them to AND thought he would be shamed for following the rules. I don't think Desco realized these flags were for surprise attacks. It appears they thought they were for ALL attacks and to Pvp someone with a red flag would shame him. Not true. Pvp red flags all day. Just give them a heads up first.

This idea is cool. Good shit Thaal.
