Before the fighting started, Jade and Desco stood side by side. So this was the girl Desco was going to partner with! Desco smiled and nodded. "I'm Desco, a Final Boss!" She nodded and smiled back as well. Desco was a little young but that demon look to her, she was probably pretty good at fighting. That tentacled thing behind her was a little more creepy though. She also already seemed nice, Jade felt she could probably be friends. "A Final Boss huh? Well I'm Jade, nice to meet'cha!"
Before they could get any further, the fight started. Desco took Jade's hand. "Now! Maaagichaaange!" Yogsothoth disappeared and Desco's form glowed bright. In that brightness she shifted into a ridiculously sized two bladed sword. Jade could already feel the power Desco was giving her through the Magichange effect. Yogsothoth summoned automagically behind them as the change finished. Jade could feel him, he felt completely natural and it was like he was a second limb. It felt like a rush as Desco's magic filled her.
Jade inspected Desco's new form. "Hey, cool sword." "Thanks!" "Ohhh, you can still talk too! I thought you'd be like, in my head. "No, Desco isn't telepathic or anything. She could ask Daddy next time!" Before they could go on, the fight really started! Music started to rumble, seeking the proper tune for this fight. The nanobots were a little confused by the events unfolding, Desco had a partner and they fought a fused couple. Where is that proper theme?
Now... mirrors shattered behind Jade wielding Desco. The music went into full swing. It hadn't quite hit the mark but this was proper music for a final boss! "Waah!" A flash of foresight as bullets rained and a few struck Jade. She spouted blood in several places and one went straight into her kneecap. Jade would have taken more hits but reflexively Jade brought Desco about and put Desco between her and the machinegun. Desco's over-sized blade and hilt provided a lot of cover and bullets ricocheted off of her sword form.
"Heeey.." Jade stamped her leg with the bullet in the knee. Despite the injury and pain she felt a little separated from its effect. "Something weird is going on!" Desco breathed sharply though not literally, rather the sound echoed from her weapon form as did her voice. "That is one of Desco's Powers! Daddy gave it to her after Dante's Abyss!" Jade smiled and nodded, that was useful. "You'll have to tell me about that sometime. But now.. let's show them how to really fight!"
Unlike those two, Jade was in complete control with Desco. Even Yogsothtoh was under her command. She picked up up the sword from the ground still holding it to protect her, bullets still bouncing off, and jumped high up into the air. Levitation took hold as their speed fell and they stopped, floating up high. Her own attack did disappointingly little, it was time to try one of these new moves buzzing in her mind. As they were difficult to reach, the music slowed a bit with the lull in action.
The female swordsman (not swordswoman, weren't they both now?) tracked them up a ways but they went out of effective range so the bullets stopped flying. "Let's try this one!" Jade held both hands up in the air, sword still in hand, and gathered a fireball in-between them. It grew larger and larger. The heat felt nice. "Haaaa!" Then she brought her hands down and the fireball launched.
The blast struck the ground. It took a moment for Jade and Desco to realize they had jumped out of the way at the last second. The music kept pace coming back to full speed. "Over there!" Desco pulled a little, and they saw that their enemy charged the mirrors that made the walls of the ring, and started to run up them. It was a little dizzying, as it made them keenly aware of the reflections they cast into the mirrors around the ring. Using Yogsothoth, Jade shot out two tentacles at the climbing adversary. It felt really strange, but not bad. She could feel the entire length as they stretched.
