Connor looked at the young girl right next him and shook his head, ’Well I guess I have her on my team, maybe I can use her as a distraction, she doesn't seem like much’.
Then a bright flash surrounded them and they fused. Cuby looked at themself and then..'Hi!’, ’This is embarrassing!’, 'What why?’, ’I’m Foróntas éna GAMO FOUSTA!, ’Well you didn't have to cuss...and you rather go skirtless?’, ’Hell no, now let's focus, and they are already moving, well…, the Connor half thinks for bit, ’Ruby right? Okay let's use Crescent Rose, I’m driving but I need your instincts, ’Can do!’.
The draconian looking being grapples up to Cuby and once they are up, they speak first.
”I don't know why we are here, or why were are merged with others, but one thing is certain...," the draconian adjusted to a fighting stance, "... the only we are getting out is by defeating you."
Cuby smirks.
"I feel the same. Even though I don't want to have a reason to fight you, I get the feeling we don't have a choice." Cuby reaches under their skirt to reveal the bright red scythe, spinning it and slamming the hilt on the ground.
It all happens in blur, in the mix of Connor’s instinct and Ruby’s familiarity of the weapon left them with one of Crescent Rose’s and Lupa’s magazines expended and one of the the draconian’s chains cut.
"You're as sharp as your weapon. I respect such a formidable opponent."
"You're not so bad yourself. It's a shame we have to fight."
Cuby reloads both weapons as the draconian repairs their chains. They put in a magazine loaded with Cyan rounds.
Cuby finishes first, and acts first. Only having enough time to holster Lupa and grabs Crescent Rose. They dash to their opponent, leaving a trail of rose petals, Rose petals?!? Seriously?!?, Hey! It’s not like I can do anything about it!.
Demexyana looks up as soon as Cuby begins their slash with Crescent Rose, and leaps back out of the reach of the blade. Cuby smirks and pulls the trigger and discharges the entire capacity. Demexyana reacts quickly, and uses their breath weapon, Fire Storm. The resulting inferno destroyed several of the bullets, and reached Cuby, but one hit the draconian square in the chest, and the other at the top of the shoulder.
Cuby lands and jumps back, then realizes that their forearms are moderately burned. They look at their opponent, and realized that the chest and right arm are frozen solid.
The draconian looks at their frozen limb then at Cuby. They roar, and with sheer power, break some of the ice, restoring some use of the arm. Demexyana pulls out a short sword with several notches and rushes at Cuby.
Cuby uses a burst of speed to dodge. They spin Crescent Rose in their hands rather quickly, and trip the draconian with the curving blade. As Demexyana falls Cuby slashes downward, but the draconian uses their sword breaker to catch a part of the blade assembly. As it turns out Cuby was strong enough to get the tip of Crescent Rose’s blade assembly to stab into Demexyana’s useable arm.
Cuby jumps off of their opponent, but not before they were to break a part of Cuby’s scythe. Cuby loads in a magazine of black rounds. They turn to Demexyana and point Crescent Rose downward.
”What are you doing?"
Cuby smirks. "Meh, it’s time for a change of scenery."
They pull the trigger once, which launches them up, then point their weapon at the draconian, and fires again, which launches them to the next building. They land while Demexyana deals with the bullet of black Dust.
’Let's hide while we have the chance, so we can get the drop on them’, ’Good idea’. Cuby touches their thumb and pointer finger together, then turn invisible. They collapse Crescent Rose down and put it up behind them. They draw Lupa and hide amidst an Air conditioning unit.
