I'll be the killjoy and point out a few things from the technical side.
Potential problems:
Finding the same server for everyone to join on. Doesn't have a static server selection, simply allows you to select region, and chucks you onto some server, pretty much based on "This one needs more players."
Also the whole NA/EU/AUS thing. Ping could be an issue.
Otherwise, sounds like a fun idea.
