“People, all day today…” Victor sighed to himself, as yet another victim stepped up to the chopping block. This one’s assault, though wild and strong, was no better executed than the previous foe’s that Victor had already tangled with just that morning. The exploding sounds of bullet leaving chamber alerted the assassin to his opponent’s intentions and with a slight slip Victor leaned out of harm’s way, taking only glancing blows instead of direct ones. He flinched feeling the sting of the cut and the blood flowing down his arm.
“Apparently these guns are better than the ones in my world” Victor chuckled to himself, feeling that this was going to be a difficult but fun fight. Deans burst of movement may have caught Wolfe off guard had he not learned and mastered the ability himself and seen the tell-tale signs of rapid acceleration early. Victor grasped at his daggers and with a quick and precise move brought one down to block the bade in Deans hand preventing himself from getting carved open and at the same time with malicious glee sending his other gleaming blade thrusting towards the brunettes stomach. The force from Deans accelerated movement combined with Victors well placed and fast moving blade met with a satisfying sound of flesh separating and blood spilling. The attacker dropped to one knee in surprise.
Withdrawing his blade and cleaning it of blood Victor took a few steps back to admire his work before leaving to find more pathetic invaders to introduce to the sharp end of his daggers. Until to his surprise the man he had thought dead stood back up even more enraged. “ You know that would kill most normal people but I guess I should have been able to notice from your eyes and voice , you are a demon right?” Victor smirked. “I have heard a lot about you demons from the fools in the imperial church and it appears for once they got there info correct. Possessing humans but giving them incredible ability’s, I will assume that is why you are not dead yet fiend but this gives me a good opportunity. You see whilst working as an assassin I never did get the chance to fight one of you so let’s see how well my blades measure up against hells best, after all in my line of work I will probably end up there eventually may as well get a head start on seeing how I do.” Victor smiled with anticipation at the prospect of fighting a demon for the first time, although the nagging worry of his previous injuries got to him. He would have to be cautious in this fight and not allow his opponent to get the upper hand.
Before engaging the assailant again the young assassin turned to his comrades, “I want to enjoy this fight so please try to not interfere too much, however if anyone else tries to get involved introduce them to the ground and make sure they have an intimate relationship with it” after a quick salute to Shay and Erik Victor turned and walked towards Dean, noticing that a good amount of the damage that had been done by his blades was already sealing up. “So you have a boosted healing rate too, very impressive, I look forward to this fight.” Victor sneered once again underestimating his opponent, as he took one more step Dean lunged grasping Victor by the throat and lifting him up trying to throttle the blade wielder.
Air began to run out and Victor was reminded of his embarrassing defeat during the Abyss. The demons grip was strong and even his training could not protect him from the force being applied to his wind pipe. Lucky for Victor he had a solution, shutting his eyes he lifted his blades slightly and with a quick smash caused a flash of blinding light burning Deans black eyes. The demon dropped the assassin who quickly pressed the button on his belt entering the safety of his stealth.
Before his opponent could recover Victor proceeded to carefully aim slashes at whatever seemed to be the most viable target one slash caught the legs causing glistening red blood to run down towards the sandy cobble below. Victor was going to make sure that he tore his opponent apart, after all his last fights had been spent chasing a rodent and grouping up on an old man, it was time to relieve some stress and this demon seemed like an interesting target.
