Concerns regarding Underverse & the questline

What about THE Tick? He could probably beat Diablo.

In the end, it's all about "impressing" him. Maybe being ballsy enough to TRY to kill him would be enough for that.

I do like this idea, since your character is meant to die a metric ton in the Underverse, you could at least make those deaths the slight bit honorable by going up against Diablo, yes?

Beating him, that's an entirely different story, but certainly coming back every single death your character would endure, time after time, trying to defeat what seems to be a god is definitely something Diablo might deem memorable and entertaining enough to give you the boot.

That, and I wouldn't mind writing over 20,000 words on something cool like that :balls:

If Dark Souls has taught me anything it's that even the weakest individuals can defeat the strongest opponents through persistence. You're a Prime: you'll keep coming back to him, time and time again. He might kill you hundreds, thousands of times, but he can't get rid of you forever, and he's bound to screw up sometime. Long enough for you to get in a hit of your own. Not to mention, you grow stronger every moment thanks to all the sweet OM you're earning
