Amaterasu untensed a bit when the stranger dissipated the weird wind between her hands and turned to a normal position. She hadn't even noticed the tension in her muscles until now, and it surprised her a little. Well... perhaps because she was yet unfamiliar with this place? She didn't know. But, the other one seemed willing to speak, and they could understand each other - although it made her curious that Arthuria spoke this fluently, only to pronounce kosai-ho and kami with a very heavy accent. Perhaps there was some form of language barrier after all? Surely it couldn't be that these terms didn't exist where the stranger came from - even the western lands worshipped higher beings, and they were bound to have some code of conduct in their culture, right? Or maybe they used a different word?
While the stranger thought, so did Amaterasu. If this was a western individual, she would have to be careful - she was not versed in their customs, though so far it didn't seem like she had done any major slip-ups, at least none that the other girl had remarked. Then she was spoken to once more, and Amaterasu frowned. "It appears that there is some form of language barrier between us, even though we understand the majority of each other's words, Arthuria Pendragon. Like you seem to not understand certain words that I speak, that word you just said... knight, was it? It's not something I recognize - though I am certainly eager to find out, and would be happy in turn to explain what you didn't understand to you. I can only guess from the context, that it must be a social standing in your culture? But as for your other questions..."
She took a moment to allow the other one to interrupt her if she had to, and to think this over. "An honorable warrior", she had said. So indeed the culture she was from had a code of honor. She would have to explain it to her later... kosai-ho and kami should not be too hard to explain after all. Provided that Arthuria didn't say anything, she continued after a few seconds.
"The words Archer and Caster both are familiar to me, but you seem to speak of them as names - and I have never been called either of these by nickname, as far as I can remember. Perhaps there is something I am missing here?" That was the most probable - another clash of cultures, or perhaps Arthuria knew something about this place that she did not, and would all make sense soon enough. She pointed over towards the rock, where the Prayer Beads were still lodged. "You came to me while I was trying out what powers I have in this place, as it appears they have been severely altered. Would you mind if I recovered my weaponry? I can only give you my word of honor that I will not use them against you so long as you do not attempt to attack me in return, but I feel better with them by me, rather than lodged into that rock." She weaved a little test into those words: "word of honor." the stranger had just now mentioned having her own code of honor as a... knight. Whatever that was. And it seemed to be important to her. She was curious to see how she would react to this being mentioned from another person. Although of course, if Arthuria did indeed take her word, she would keep it. Breaking her word as a Goddess would be a sacrilege like no other.
