Oh, that sounds awesome! Maybe in the intermission pieces you can focus on the internal or psychological conflict that Retane has within himself? That would be a neat contrast to the actual fast-paced battle scenes, and could make for an interesting situation to write! Like a whole self-actualization quest, or something. Just a suggestion, haha ^^
