If the neko, Xavier, was hoping that either Asriel or Ookami himself was going to be of any help, he was about to be sadly and unmistakably let down. It could only be assumed his hope was valid thought because the two taller males looked friendly towards each other and maybe even like old friends. With Asriel's guard down and even rubbing the back of his head in playful shame, and Volk's perfect yet relaxed posture, they almost looked like two comrades reuniting by chance. From afar. Up close, with the conversation being over heard, it was quite the opposite. Dust gathered he knew just about as much as this other male, who's height some how beat his own, but only by a hand full of inches, and so at the respectable distance it wasn't much effort at all to glance into the guy's eyes. Apparently that was a very different story for the approaching cat-man.
Dust had no earthly idea that as the other new omniverse member's invisible partner was checking out his well clean-cut abs and chest as they approached, and even more so unaware of the extra members of this newly formed group. He was about logic and his only connection to that kind of thing was how much contractor's abilities were similar to other world's psychics. How pyrokienisis, one of the most common abilities he's come across, was a rare thing in other worlds. He had no ability to sense the spirits that were suddenly gathered around him, other than just a hint of knowing something was up, no idea that one was drooling over his half naked body and that the other one was attempting to make contact with the other.
However, he was very aware of the smaller male coming towards them, he could oddly smell the animal half of him approaching, it smelt far more domesticated than the goat's. It wasn't unpleasant, but more unappetizing than Asriel. Of course, that could be because he was wolf, and Xavier was cat. Or because in Russia he regularly ate goat meat. He didn't need his pure logical mind to tell him that wasn't something he should mention near his new alley, and really didn't think it would come up, but decided he shouldn't order anything of that nature while around the stark white Capra aegagrus hircus, He glanced over before Asriel but both took in the same sight.
He was a much shorter male than them, and compared to Dust, far less impressive in the muscle department. Xavier could easily get jealous with all the fuss his rodent companion was making but she hasn't even heard the guy speak yet. And the closer he got, the more apparently his height difference became. Dust had to look down to face the kid, and noted he also looked like something out of myth. Not like it mattered, not to a werewolf. What interested SW - 808 was not his height though, like his partner across from him, he also recognized the technology and realized he was missing something. But it wasn't a question of how did he loose his communication device, but on what number was he on how many he has lost or had to destroy. The government supplied him with a radio for missions, but the phone was to get a hold of him if ever he was off base. Given his special circumstances right now, he doubt the Russian's planned to keep that up. He would be branded as a traitor.
If he hadn't already been so, and that's who was shooting at him and Drake, missing him somehow and putting a lot of holes into the other man.
Xavier started out strongly polite, for a cat that just walked straight into the arms of a wolf. For all his scars and branding, that one was the one that stuck out the most in particular. Wolf. Lycan.. He didn't see any point repeating himself, especially when Asriel spoke the truth for them both, even commenting his interest in the phone being a make-shift manual to this place. He doubt it would have all the answers, especially for people like these two who seemed to want all the information before playing the game, but to a guy like Star Dust, information was only helpful if it got him to his goal quicker. Since he didn't even have a place to go to sleep right now, he couldn't use any kind of information. At least not that he could think of.
"I didn't even know they were gates. I just was curious." He finally said, with a voice that would make the already impressed Azalea melt. Unless she liked squeaky voices, and since she was a mouse that was a valuable possibility. He had no pockets.. And given that he only had on the form fitting shorts, which hugged his equally sculpted thighs and hips, it came to no surprise. He didn't even try to look. Even if he had a phone, which he'd have on him without knowing it himself, he doubt his new keeper, Shock, would have allowed it to stay in his possession. Now that he thought about it.. He wondered exactly who had stripped him and clothed him. But it was just a offhanded thought. "But if its any kind of map you can interact with, you probably just have to click or hover over the gates to know which one is the closest." He explained.
Hokori was not a wizard with technology in the least, but his world was advanced enough that that would be one of the things even a simple minded contractor could do. His forte was fighting and killing. Not computers. But he imagined Shock would be into that kind of thing, especially with that stunning baton on steroids he'd seen in his last.... Well anything with her. That had been the last visual he had of the Austrian Assassin/Spy, the last conversation, the last deal.. He didn't even know if she was alive or dead now.. He could take a wild guess though, which was also a strange idea for the pure logic contractor. If they had mowed down Drake without a thought, regardless of the damage they did to Dust, they probably executed the girl without a breath of hesitation. He wondered if Omni didn't take him at that point, would he had also been dealt with?
