It was a good thing that the Colosseum was crowded with people, most of which hadn't even witnessed the attack on Axorn or the medical team coming through - Alexyana was getting stuck every two steps, needing to climb over people who hadn't found a seat and were sitting on the ground or dodging kids that were running around between the seats, playing Gladiators with wood swords they had bought at the Carnival. As a result the dragoness was barely advancing, and even if she did she couldn't see any suspicious hooded figures far and wide. Or even anyone who wore a cloak similar to the one she had seen on the dragonhunters that had assaulted her.
"Where the hell did that attack come from...? Damnit, it could have been anyone at this point!" Her gaze shifted to the Colosseum Arena for a brief moment, but then again... no, they probably had taken better precautions than that to keep the spectators from getting injured, and it didn't look like the current fights were having stray shots being flung all around. But if there was a protection... wait. If there was a protective barrier in the center, that severely restricted the directions Axorn could have gotten hit from - from the sides or behind possibly, but not from the front as anyone on the other side of the Colosseum would have had their attack stopped by the barrier. So what was it then? She stopped in her tracks on one of the staircases leading from and to the Colosseum spectator seats and the exit, then moved towards a protected corridor just in front of the staircase where it was much harder to get hit by projectiles - if, of course, the attacker was gunning for her as well. But she had no way of knowing now.
"Grr... damnit!" She yelled and slammed her fist into the wall, breaking one of the bricks into two clean halves. "Why did they shoot him anyway? Was it really dragonhunters?" She was starting to doubt it. They wouldn't try two attacks in such a short timespan, and they didn't seem as well equipped to conduct such an offense, at least not when she had fought them. So who was it? And why?
