Colosseum - Spectator Thread

As Alexyana took off to question the dragon hunters, the group of medics were greatly distressed and confused at what had just transpired. None of them were paying attention to see the mask form from Axorn's scales, and assumed it had just been there in the first place. The medics looked over the body and were surprised to find no injury, just blood. The licensed practitioners removed the mask and found, upon closer inspection, that sections of the mask were missing in the two areas where the blast would have entered and left Axorn's body, and promptly tossed it aside. Axorn was completely intact; without injury.

"What the heck?" One of them said, "We saw him get shot straight through the head by something, where are the injuries?"

"No idea." The other responded.

"Primes and their weird abilities these days... they just keep getting weirder."

While the medics were distracted, the scales and bone shards that seemed to have come from the injury underwent a intriguing transformation. They turned into white shards, of a material akin to that of the mask Axorn was wearing. The small shards began levitating slowly, catching the eyes of some of the crowd in awe, and began shooting towards the broken mask, avoiding everything in their way so that it was not disturbed. The shards fit themselves back into the broken sections like an automated puzzle and seemed to seal itself with the rest of the mask, with no sign that it was ever damaged.

As the shards flew past the medics, they found themselves gaping, jaws to the floor, at their surreal situation.

"How in Omni's name is this possible?" the first one said. That question however, remains to be answered in the near future.

When Axorn blinked his eyes open and came to, the medics were packing up and leaving, there was no need for treatment.

Axorn got up, wiped the blood off the side of his head, picked up his mask, and set off to find Alexyana. Well, she tried helping me out even though it wasn't needed, I guess that warrants at least an explanation. Axorn spread his wings and took to the air scanning the crowd for Alexyana, hoping he'd be able to find her before she did something reckless and got into trouble.
