Colosseum - Spectator Thread
#56
"You got killed? Really? What happened with that?" She asked, raising an eyebrow. "Did your enemy decide not to spare you, or was it an accident? I mean, it's still a friendly tourney, no reason to kill one another... right?" She asked that whilst Axorn was looking down at the Colosseum battles, as he was taking a break from speaking.

"I honestly doubt that we two are competitors to any of the big ones around here. I only barely was able to obtain my magma breath before my fight, and I don't exactly feel very strong. People around here are fast and my scales aren't durable enough. Not to mention that the physics seem to operate on an entirely different system - I realize that more and more with each hour I go by around here. Don't get too disappointed." She gave his back a comforting pat just before suddenly Axorn tensed up and she withdrew her hand, thinking that he had been angered by her approach.

"Axorn? What's the matter?" She asked and looked at the battle, but really she couldn't make out who it was. Axorn wasn't exactly being precise about who he was angry about, and there were several men in the quarterfinals. "You mean that Shang guy?" She turned her head towards him just in time to see the the dragon's skull erupting out of seemingly nowhere and she leapt to her feet, yelling. "AXORN! What the..." She frantically looked around, trying to see if she could make out anyone who had attacked, while around her some spectators panicked and dropped to the ground. She growled and yelled loudly. "HELP! HELP HERE! I NEED A DOCTOR!" Taking no notice of that Axorn's face was apparently melting off or something she shoved several spectators aside when she noticed a first-aid team of two men approaching, from a group prepared in case that the Colosseum magic walls were to fail for any reason and a stray attack from one of the combatants were to hit. Lucky. Her method was a bit brutal but she couldn't count on the panicked people to run aside to let the team through.

As soon as the men were there to start treating Axorn Alexyana rushed past them and along the spectator ranks. She had no idea where the shot had come from, but she had seen those dragonhunters earlier, at the entrance to the medical tent, and counted on that if it were the same group again they would be donning the same attire. Because she ran away from Dawnika and Axorn however, the Dataverse device that she had given to the former burnt out in her hands and vanished because Alexyana was going too far away from it to further supply it with energy. At least the open site was staying saved, so Dawnika could resume the read whenever she was done. Alexyana counted on her friend to help the medical team with Axorn - she could perhaps have provided them with some insight on the draconic body, but she wanted to chase down whoever had attacked them, though something in the back of her head told her to be careful. Axorn's scales and skull had been easily pierced by the beam, it must have been a very strong attack. And what if the attacker aimed for her next?
