Please correct me if I'm being stupid, but if they were to buy communicators and whistles (and they've been to the Dunes before) and Nealaphh were to give them a holler...maybe they could? I could be entirely wrong, but yeah. I mean only Okor would have the requisite OM to get all of the stuff, but maybe it's possible?

Then the issue becomes whether or not they've been to the Dunes before.

They'd need some way to teleport there, and be close to where the action is. I'm actually talking over possibilities with Frisco right now (about DP making it), and there's essentially no way I can make this. I assume same goes for them.

Right, that's what I was saying. Only if they'd been to the Dunes for the whistle to work. Also though, I was just thinking that the way the Warp Whistle is described, it SEEMS like it would only warp you to a location you've been before. It doesn't say that you can choose where in the 'verse', which could mean that unless they've been to Nippur, it would still be a sizable travel from like Carefore or the Gate or wherever they've already been.

EDIT: I might now just be stating what's already understood by everyone. I'm very tired.
