Chara didn’t notice when Cyborg slipped from the mortal coil. One moment, the one-armed machine was taking small bites of chocolate, and the next, he was motionless in the sand.
The girl patted him on the head one last time and looked around. The others had all left the beach for one reason or another.
“Huh.”
