Gildarts saw Guu vanish again and was kept company by Desco. In the mean time, the young purple girl had lifted a hammer and smashed it into a strange machine, then, a little mechanism in the scale thrashed to the top before erupting upward, into the clouds, and completely out of sight.
Desco cheered along with Gildarts, who felt a thick sweat come on. His face flushed with the color of bone, and his cheeks protruded his skin with jagged semblance of a skull. The hollows of his eyes grew shaded, and after a while, he needed to sit down.
"You alright Gildarts?" Desco asked curiously, while a fan heard his name and shoved their way through the massive crowd.
"GILDARTS?" the human shouted, and soon he had an audience.
"What's the matter Gildarts, that fight take enough out of ya? Or are you up for seconds?" a hefty man raised his fists, he would be famous if he could slay the mighty Gildarts, even though the wizard didn't look so good.
"Stand down." Gildarts commanded in a flat, raw tone of anguish.
"C'mon mate, just for show?!" the secondary prodded.
Guu came along in the nick of time to ward off any attention the Prime had drawn to himself, "Everyone, everyone, Gildarts had a long fight," she spoke in her princess voice and the crowds couldn't help to be astounded by the power in her voice, "And I'm sure he would appreciate it if you all left him to recover on his own."
The crowd dispersed, except for the one secondary, who pronounced his anger, at Guu, who remained in her youthful form. "Wot, so you're gonna take his place then?"
Guu pursed her lips, some people were thick headed. But it was Desco who came to the Prime's rescue and knocked the challenging secondary off of his feet, with a stuffed animal that catapulted to hit the man straight in the abdomen.
The man marveled at the softness of the plush toy, but was left heaving for breath after landing in, you guessed it, the dunk tank.

"Gildarts are you alright?" Guu spoke as he exploded into a bout of coughing. His eyes bulged as he recognized the faint trace of blood on his palm, and smeared the crimson from his hand, out of sight.
The wizard cleared his throat and nodded with his brows crunched in a furrowed line. "Princess Guu, I should be alright."
It suddenly hit her that she was aghast that Gildarts could even stand after the whipping he had taken from the Bandit in the battlefield. Not a moment later, her concern was proved correct, as the Prime wobbled to a stand.
Gildarts' took in a slow breath and his eyes followed as a river through the maze of people, fear scraped against his stomach, and it was then that Gildarts knew that he had to leave, for everyone's safety. There was a tingling in his arm that wouldn't go away, and a surge of magic that would not be quenched even by his own will.
