Colosseum - Round 2 - Bandit vs Mami
#8
The bandit could barely be considered human at this point, most of her body covered in horrific burns. The TIE fighter smoked behind her, the flames casting her into insidious show and flickering red light. Limping forward, she looked the girl up and down. “I must not have been trying hard enough if you still look that good.”

The cruel bandit took a step forward but immediately fell to a single knee. Taking a deep breath, she turned her gaze on the young woman that stood above her. “What? Don’t got the stomach for the work?” She tried to laugh, but it just came out as pained gasps. “Like I said, it really doesn’t matter. You can blow my brain all over the ground and I’ll just wake up in three days, right as rain.”

Mami scowled, a faint glow brushing her cheeks as a long rifle was summoned into her hand. “You shouldn’t take death so lightly. It’s still important.”

“Shut the fuck up and shoot me,” the bandit whined, her flesh still crackling and smoking, “It feels like Diablo’s turning me over the spit over here.”

A trace of tears grew in the corners of Mami’s golden eyes, only there a moment before she blinked them away. Taking a step forward, the cold steel of the magical gun pressed into the woman’s head. “I’m not going to kill you,” she said softly, almost defiantly. “Just give up.”

“Fine, fine…” the nameless woman gasped and then coughed weakly. “Just one piece of advice, huh?”

Mami lifted an eyebrow, “What?”

Her fire-deformed lip moved into something close to a smile. “Don’t ever get in arm’s reach with your gun.”

The majokka began to dart back, but her half-broiled opponent swatted the barrel away from her face and took hold of it. Mami held tight as the bandit tugged the musket backwards, pulling her into close enough range that the bandit’s metal fist could reach.

A grid of magical hairlines opened up over Mami’s chin, creeping up over her lips and cheeks as the uppercut rocked her head back violently. Pushing up from her crouched position, the wastelander’s entire bodyweight was thrust up with the strength of her legs and core, lifting the young woman cleanly off of her feet.

“Cause then that happens,” she grunted, shaking the blurs out of her eyes.

Mami hit the metal floor heavily, arms too limp to prevent the impact. Huffing, the bandit limped over to her downed opponent, took a knee, and threw her entire weight down into the barely-conscious girl’s jaw once again. This time it definitely broke. With a heavy sigh, she grabbed the girl by her pretty bow and lifted her up with one hand.

Stagger-steppign herself a few more feet forward, the bandit dangled her over the edge, the caustic miasma fuming under her well-made boots. “Nice fight, Magical Girl.”

A sudden jerk ripped the bow from her shirt, and the unconscious woman fell into the yawning gulf below.
