Colosseum - Spectator Thread

Alexyana frowned as she listened, and for another while she didn't reply to Dawnika although she held out her bag of "loot", as she called it, with the food she had bought at the Carnival if her friend wanted to help herself to anything. She eyed the ongoing fights without really focusing as she thought about things.

"Perhaps in this world there's a way to bring them back. Your mother and brother, I mean." She then noted. "I mean, it's not impossible, right? This place seems to be based entirely on Omnilium, even the raw materials, the world around us, the very air we breathe, is composed from it. Why not we, too? I'm really getting into funny theories here, but... imagine that you could somehow bring back your mother, your brother, perhaps even other people, that way - using this Omnilium stuff. I found someone who... well, they seem to be theorizing about that sort of thing."
"Who'd that be?"
"Here, take a look for yourself. It's pretty wild."

She held her hand up, palm pointing upwards and ignoring the bandages wrapped around it from her Colosseum injuries. A little flame appeared between her fingers, rapidly growing without any visible material to burn it, although the Energy Grid on Alexyana's arm was glowing ever so slightly because she channeled energy into it. The center of the flame then darkened out and displayed the Dataverse logo for a few seconds as it loaded up the Messageboards. "I made that thing after seeing a couple people use it on the Carnival outside. Mobile Dataverse Devices, they call it. It's pretty neat, honestly. Anycase, I found this... thing, it's kind of like a book, but without the pages. Here, see for yourself."

She handed Dawnika the flame which turned out to be only slightly warm to the touch and not scorching or anything that a regular flame would do. The middle showed a Daaverse website blog which Alexyana had opened, passing the finger over it would allow one to scroll it up or down. "You've got to move your finger up and down along the surface to see more, it's pretty intuitive. Give it a try." However, the part that she was most interested in was already displayed:

Summoning, its something I hadn't known about until recently. Then again I didn't know about the omniverse up until punched me in the face and took me for a ride like some drunken brothel bride.

Yeah that's a think in my verse. Don't ask.

Anyways we are talking about summoning and difficulty of such. For some and I'm looking specifically at high echelon primes; there is little in the way that stops from from summoning entire populations. So where do they come from? What are they?

These beings are known as Secondaries and often there are some inherent difficulties when creating them. For those who are Secondaries, I appologize, your plight at our hands is entirely atrocious but even for your sake's I must make blunt terms of it for the sake of research

I say create because their capabilities seem oddly specialized toward the Prime who summons them. And I also say create because conjuring them from the aether doesn't seem trace directly to an major expenditure of omnilium. Its seems more like we are causing circumstance within the Omniverse to wish them into being. Something is different in process, the seed of omnilium we impart onto them doesn't grow which only reinforces my belief that the starter omnilium we are reborn with is different from what is found in those we summon.

Since I've learned how to summon people and things I've experimented with using larger quantities of Omnilium to produce people from my history or no history at all. I've had no luck and apart from being creeped out at similar they are to some of the forbidden arts of Nidaime Hokage developed.

"This person's writings all are about theorizing various parts of the Omniverse, in short... but what really interests me here is that you can summon people - and from the sound of it, that DOES include dead people or people that don't even exist at all." She passed a hand through her hair as she tried to find the right words. "I don't want to summon my mother or my siblings to this world if they can't be like myself, but the possibilities seem... well, just about endless, don't you think? You could perhaps bring back your mother and brother that way. Or perhaps speak to the faceless guy - Omni - if he could bring them to this world. He's gotta be somewhere, even if he's a god - even the Dark and Light Lords existed. Granted, in a big fortress protected by loads of powerful individuals which was hard to access, but they did exist. We could try to find a way..."
