Colosseum - Spectator Thread
#35
Dawnika's usual flat expression shifted to a lighter tone, Alexyana almost got her to laugh a little. "Friends stick together no matter what. No matter if you draw bad luck to yourself, a true friend would stay with you through all the bad times." The demon girl's haed shifted to the fights, but she kept speaking after moving around a bit to get more comfortable. "In my world, the Akame suffer bad luck all the time. No matter who they were, if you weren't Akame, you were terrified of them in Quotin. I know about bad times. I've fought through two wars at home, and my friends were always with me. They are all dead now, but they never gave up, and neither will I. If you will allow me, I would gladly follow you toThe Light and back. Or, in your world, it would be equivalent to the 'hell' you spoke of." She rested her foot up on her other leg and rubbed her ankle. It was obvious she was in pain with her eyes squinting up due the pain. A sigh escaped her breath as she sat back and relaxed. "This is the first time I have got to sit back and relax in this world."

Alexyana eyes shifted over to Dawnika. For once she didn't look completely serious about fighting, or upset about being drug into this world. In the corner of her eyes, the dragoness happens to notice a mark on Dawnika's back she never really noticed. "What happened to your back," she asked. "Is that an injury from your colosseum fight?"Her mood changed extremely fast. The scar on her back returns bad memories to her mind. "No, it is not from my previous fight. Years ago, my mother died, and I loved her so. My grief drove me to seek a way to bring her back, and unfortunately, I found a way. I fought The Phoenix Firebird. One of it's feathers would have revived my mother from death. I was quickly over powered, and my brother died fighting it with me. The scar on my back is a reminder of my mistakes in life, that is why I seek strength. I wont allow anyone to harm the ones I love, so long as I live." Dawnika slumped down in her chair and closed her eyes and took a few deep breaths. Her mind wandered about the past.
