So for super jumping, do we also cover any horizontal distance? If so, can we trade height for more distances and vise versa?

Assuming you were to jump very low to the ground (essentially springing straight ahead in a low arc), you'd cover about the same distance as a max height super jump. For anything between complete horizontal and complete vertical leaps, just use your best judgement. The max height listed holds true for merely jumping straight up, obviously if you want to go farther horizontally, you should expect your vertical height to decrease the farther you leap.
