PP: Hello everyone.
PP: It seems as though there is some concern over the activities of the Omniverse Institute.
PP: It is entirely understandable, but I hope you will give me an opportunity to rectify these reservations.
PP: First of all, whatever it was that Demetri did to get himself incarcerated by New Babylon was not on any official Institute business.
PP: I have yet to ascertain the full situation, but everyone invested in this debacle can rest assured it is not the Institute's policy to intentionally incite violence.
PP: In this regard, Demetri can rest assured that we will discuss this.
PP: As for my own dubious criminal record, I can shed light on some of these instances.
PP: Yes, I did kill a Kingdom Scout during my first hours in the Omniverse.
PP: I had just been summoned, I was scared and confused.
PP: After being unable to persuade me to come with them, their leader decided it would be easier to forcibly transport me back to Camelot.
PP: I panicked, and he was killed as a result.
PP: I do regret this, but I also take responsibility for my actions.
PP: Shortly after this happened, an Empire patrol arrived and attempted to do the same thing.
PP: In this instance I was able to resolve the situation without violence, but it seems that the Empire decided I was still a threat worth eliminating.
PP: I had a second unfortunate encounter with Empire personnel a few weeks later.
PP: This was largely my fault, as I was in their territory to begin with.
PP: Again, I was able to resolve the situation without casualties, but some Empire property was damaged in the process.
PP: This leads to the circumstances of my final bounty.
PP: I had gone to Rapture in the hopes of discovering some information pertinent to my current goals.
PP: During my stay, I discovered the dynamic between the Little Sisters and their protectors.
PP: For those of you who are not aware, a Little Sister is a young human female who has had a special sea slug grafted to their organs to produce a substance called ADAM.
PP: I discovered that Little Sisters were the subjects of intense brainwashing that compelled them to carry out the task of reclaiming ADAM from dead Rapture citizens.
PP: The Little Sister I took from Rapture, Rebecca, had great potential to grow beyond the limits of her servile fate.
PP: In the interest of seeing her grow to meet that potential, I was forced to slay her brainwashed protector and take her from the city.
PP: My only regret in this instance is that I was unable to take more of them.
PP: It seems that there is now an effort being organized to force my punishment for these transgressions.
PP: It is to be expected, and I do hope to reconcile these crimes to the injured parties if I am able.
PP: There is still too much for me to do in the Omniverse proper, however, so I fear I will be forced to make an example of my pursuers.
