This would be the time Braig would say, "As If". That is if he were in Xehanort's place instead of the white haired scientist himself. Braig would also be inclined to rush that offer, picking a fight when none needed to be fought in the first place. It was as if he had something to prove to the world, to himself. Xehanort had nothing to prove. He had only a goal, an ending position, and as long as he met that end, everything accumalating up to that point would have been worth his time spent. The lessened consequence of death here in the... "Omniverse", as others call it, meant it was only a matter of time before the goal was achieved.
Xehanort finished his glass and set it down softly, and rested his hand squarely on the counter. The barkeep, who must have arrived shortly before Xehanort himself, retrieved the glass and wiped it clean and dry with a soft white rag before setting the glass with the others on the counter behind him. Curious. Nearly every building in this town had suffered some kind of damage and yet this particular one had remained as clean as a building in this town could be. The barkeep must work hard to keep his business in good condition.
"Ya know stranger, if all you wanted was to wet yer throat, the inn down the street would have served ya just as well. This place can draw in ah... a more... unsavory lot than most other places", the barkeep said with a stroke to his mustache. Fair enough, but there is always a method to ones madness, whether or not they know it themselves.
"Hmm, I must not have seen it. The buildings are all too similar, and the sign was probably destroyed in the fighting. Are you saying you don't want my silver? I can provide more.. rarer materials if that need be the case, but I doubt water is that precious."
Xehanort caught the word LAW, and turned his attention to the fool's two friends. It wasn't the word itself that interested him, but rather the way it was said. In this case LAW, was a person or a group of persons. Perhaps it was an organization. Xehanort toyed with the possibility of a group of Primes like himself among these wastes. From what little he had witnessed of them, he knew primes were a powerful lot. The man with red skin seemed particularly powerful himself, but rarely do leaders of their own faction do the recruiting themselves, especially if their organization is already fully established. No, Xehanort had a hunch that the one behind this, "LAW" was somewhere else, sitting pretty in his HQ.
