Samus was still smoldering from her defeat earlier. It had been entirely her own fault, of course. Maybe if she’d brought Adam along, it wouldn’t have happened. But she had discovered something odd as a direct result of her loss – her Power Suit seemed to be regenerating itself. Normally, restoring it would create an energy source of some kind. Omnilium? The more Samus reflected on this world, the more curious she became. There were so many answers, and so few questions.

She flexed a hand. Was that same effect taking place on her body, as well? Samus didn’t feel fatigue as heavily as a normal person. In part it was due to the training regimen she’d maintained since it was a child, but she could also attribute it to the genetic manipulations the Chozo had performed on her back then. It was hard, then, to tell if the environment of the Omniverse was having any effect.

She broke the silence. “Seems my Power Suit is regenerating itself. Has anyone else noticed anything like that?”
