Desco was a little sad. She stood there and watched as the next matches started to take place. Mami had defeated her. Despite all of Desco's strength, Mami had danced around her and shot after shot eventually took her down. Then that huge cannon she had bluffed with had knocked out Desco and before she knew it she was sitting in the medical tent being patched up.
She watched Mami for a few minutes. Desco wasn't too sad. Mami was a heroine, a magical girl. Heroes beat Final Bosses so it was okay. Desco learned something for the next time she fought a hero. Heroes liked to move around a lot so she needed to learn some wider area moves to hit them with! Or maybe homing moves to follow them. More power would always work!
Desco decided to wander off. She didn't want to think about being a mid boss now. Though, sometimes that first mid boss you fight is really the final boss at the end of the game unexpectedly or by design. Then she heard a commotion and saw a crowd of people up ahead. Desco couldn't see what it was, it stuck above the heads of the people but some big gorilla guy was blocking her view. Desco summoned Yogsothoth and floated above.
As she got above the crowd, she spotted... Guu! Desco didn't care about the Orc with her or the strange mixed creature she crowd. Desco quickly darted down to Guu. Yogsothoth desummoned, disappearing behind her as she fell the rest of the way. She landed in front of Guu on the mount. "Guu! Desco is happy to see you!"
