Knight Night
#29
Cackling, Bellatrix, held her distance as Moon Knight attempted to reach for her, but was only able to grip a piece of cloth from her black dress. Pointing her wand at Moon Knight a burst of magic expelled out in a bright blue color almost blinding the Silver Avenger as it crashed into his white and black chest piece. Grunting, Marc drew up both of his arms allowing fingers droop slightly. He couldn't help but think of the situation he was put in; Magic? Magic was something for Doctor Strange and something Khonshu had only mentioned. Moon Knight pushed his thoughts to the back of his head. He was in a fight, and a fight he didn't intend to lose. The ringing in his ears and his throbbing headache only increased more when he tried to think.

"Where's little Harry in all this? Is he afraid of facing a horde of bloody criminals? You Avengers don't even know the plans set forth," she cackled showing all her teeth, "you know what I mean. They promised to bring him back."

Moon Knight's masked white eyes shifted into a confused look. "What?"

Bellatrix's eyes widened and her mouth opened in awe, but before she was able to mouth a single word, All Might hurled one of the cafeteria's many tables at her. With an agile response, she blasted the counter away, causing a piece of top end to rip off debris and smashing back to the ground with a loud crash. Her attention occupied the Night Protector as he sprang after her, landing a sudden right hook to her face.

"Stupefy!" She shouted collapsing to the ground her face scrunched up form the Moon Knight's hard punch.

Moon Knight launched into the air. He flipped before landing face first into the ground. A constant ringing and a stinging headache filled his head at full blast. It was an unbearable feeling, like someone was drilling through his skull. All he could think about was the pain in his head and getting free from the vex. He wanted- no, he needed to get up. The will of the moon must be fulfilled. Straining, Moon Knight drew himself up, his entire body convulsing from his pure resistance to the spell. Slowly, he brought his head back, his jaw stretching his black mask. The ringing numbed his entire body; everything around him fell silent. Slowly his eyesight faded away. The only thing he could hear was the faint sound of someone or something in his head.

Flying high again Marc?

Marc's vision was blinded by darkness. He couldn't even see his hands or feet. It was a feeling he felt before, but he couldn't remember how or even where it came from. It was like he was floating in some dark and empty nexus. Maybe it was his cold, broken, and beaten mind. Khonshu always said it had withered away from the long years. Turning his head something flashed in the distance, the flash moving closer to him. Until his eyes made out what it was. In front of him, flashing from red to white was a skull with tendrils extorting out of it in various places. It reached out, looming over him like a watchful eye. Moon Knight knew what it was: the symbol for HYDRA. As quickly as it came, the symbol began to fade to dust and the surrounding blackness began to shift into stone and bricks. The stone was the masonry of a tomb, the tomb of Khonsu. Turning his head to the center of the claustrophobic Egyptian crypt and sitting before him was his master. Khonshu sat on a large golden throne, his legs folded and right hand stretched pointing at Marc. Torch lights flashed in the background revealing hieroglyphics that told stories of Khonshu and his avatar; the Moon Knight. The god took slow deep breaths waiting for Spector to approach. Making his way to Khonshu Marc felt like he was going to be sick from all that was happening around him.

"Khonshu?"

"Spector, my son, have you now put the pieces together? HYDRA my son, it is HYDRA that the follower of Heka speaks of. She wants someone to be resurrected but I do not know who. Hurry, my son. Deal with her quickly. I fear the worst for our... friends at the tower. hurry my son!"

Abruptly with a large flash of white light Moon Knight's vision was brought back to the Omniverse. Sadly, that bitch of a witch was still a major concern. Bellatrix cackled at the amusement of knocking him around. She raised her wand and pointed it towards him, ready to deal another strike. Moon Knight didn't waste any more time. Like a black and white bullet, the Silver Avenger dashed for her and, in the same second quickly pulled out one of his truncheons. He activated activating its grappling hook. With incredible speed, he lunged into the air, grabbing Bellatrix in the same motion. Reeling upwards, he detached the hooks cable sending him and Bellatrix back down. Moon Knight landed on top of her, knocking her completely out. In another quick motion, he snatched up her wand and snapped it in half before activating his mask's communicator and contacting Marcus.

"Marcus, round up everyone. I got a bad feeling about the tower. I'm contacting Blair as we speak." He said with a press of his finger. Switching the com channel, he contacted Blair.

"Blair, we're in need of a pickup. The job is done."

"Marc! Am I so glad to hear you! Alright, I'm heading your way," Blair shouted through her mic.

"Is something wrong?" Moon Knight asked.

"Yeah, something big happened. I'll tell you when I get there."
