For a good minute, Cell didn't move, and both he and Graowr watched Archer hurriedly head off down the incline. "...he's gonna die, if he fights all of them..." the little blue girl mumbled.
"Death ain't permanent here. He'll be back." Cell shifted, adjusting the posture of the majin on his back. "Let'ss not put his disstraction to wasste." As clueless as she could be, even Graowr could tell this was not at all what the disgruntled bug-man wanted. "We sshould keep going. Thiss way, maybe..." And he turned, loping off down a path to the south. "Check the map. Sse if you can sspot any placces we might be able to ccircle around through and dodge those bassTARDSS! GAH!"
The sparks danced across his carapace again, leaving a tinge of smoke, and even the azure demon riding shotgun felt it. It wasn't pleasant, by any means. Couldn't even begin to imagine how it must have been to actually be directly shocked, and not just get the backlash secondhand. She was saddened, and wanted nothing more than to go back and catch Archer, taking him with them as they went, but...him being a distraction would buy them some time. Maybe not much, but hopefully enough.
So she dug out her tablet, pulling up the map. She scanned it over quickly, trying not to focus on the blip of a contestant that marked Archer headed right for the group of six. "Just...just up ahead, to the south. There's a tunnel that leads through the mountains, it looks like," she finally said. "I think... I think it loops back around, toward the beach."
"We could get out onto open ground there," Cell observed. "I could really pour on the sspeed and lose these jokerss." He gave a brief chuckle. "Hold on. We're going tunnel-diving."
Graowr didn't even question that. She just did as said, and held on, ready for the dive into the tunnel as it loomed ahead.
