Though he bore a smile, inwardly the Birkan grimaced. He perished to think of what dirty abode these commoners lived in. Probably in some shack, some thirteen snot-nosed brats with the run of the place. But he’d do whatever it took to get his revenge on Omni. For now, he’d endure this humiliation. Soon, he’d see that pretender god bleed.
