The battle has took his toll, Batman was near his limit. Even though he didn't like to admit it, it was true nonetheless. Finally resting in whatever shithole Karl decided to dump his latest collection of toys. Bruce leaned with his back against the wall, trying to decide which part of his body was hurt the most. Alas, rest was not in the cards. He had to keep moving and find the others. There were some allies still left on the island and he had to do everything in his power to get to them.
He checked his tablet for information, other than Enel being up in the arena bruce was unable to find anything. He sighed and with a painfull grunt he got up. His fingers were hurting like never before, barely able to move them. Bruce started preparing his weapons again, he used allot of them during that last match.
This was it, he had enough. There had to be a way off this island. a different way besides exploding his own head off. There was no point in lingering here any longer. For the first time in a long while Batman found himself without allies and all alone. Quickly gathering his things he moved out. Even after using his final trumpcard, it still wasn't enough. The shapeshifter lost her life, even with everything Bruce had thrown in the battle, it still wasn't enough.
Guilt started to eat at his conscious, no more deaths. If need be he would knock out every single person on his path, if that would end this needless bloodshed. Bruce's mind was racing as were his legs. There was but one place to go, the city. Every time he was in the city it was packed with enemies. If he had to go look for trouble, that’s where he needed to be.
