Classpects
#64
Jade Harley Wrote:That still wouldn't make him any less of a Knight of Heart? His quest would have to be different, then, like all the challenges are supposed to be, because not everyone is the same.
It wasn't so much making him less of one that I was worried about, so much as him not really having anything to do, considering he's basically supposed to have already completed the whole character development thing that classpects usually force on people, and me not really knowing how SBURB would react to that.

I guess I could just give him a slightly different quest, or manufacture some sort of personality defect that he needed to overcome in order to be successful, or something or other. In the worst case scenario, like you said, I guess I could just have him hang around and goof off with his consorts for a while whilst everyone else got their deep and meaningful character development out of the way. Tongue

I was just thinking that since all of the classes have some sort of personality defect to start with -- like Knights are supposed to have some insecurity or lack of self-confidence, for example -- what happens to all the average, well-rounded individuals who play the game? Or all the cold-hearted bastards? Because assuming those character tests are correct, then wouldn't that imply that all those people without insecurities are always killed off before ever finding out their class?

Not that it really matters, I guess.
