I believe this can be answered by something you said before in this very thread:

Vrell has officially kicked us off with his last post, we're performing for the Judges from here on out! Figure out the post order and lets do this!

The understanding that I personally had, and that I assume others had, is that Vrell had officially started the combat rounds with his post.
