Jaixe listened to her response with some amount of interest in her choice of words. It seemed somewhat hypocritical to him, given that she seemed to be attached to her dataverse terminal in all ways but physical at times. Surely the idea of bieng able to connect to the Dataverse directly at will would be a boon to her, but he didn't press for answers in this regard. Disregarding that part of her assessment, the rest did rang true for him. Even if the ordeal proved to be a bust, it would still be useful for selling to the Empire for Omnilium. It may even be worth their time in the future.
Jaixe took the information and mixed it with the schedule in his mind, almost ignoring the fact that Ash seemed to have grouped them together as allies within the short time they knew and encountered eachother. He attempted to find an estimated timetable for accomplishing the varitable tasks he had set out for himself, though was just now taking into account that he might have to drag her along as well.
He leaned forward and thumbed through the vague information provided on the comm device, swiping through it with his thumb as words poured and blurred across the screen. "I have other tasks to take into consideration as well. We are on a stricter schedule than I'd normally like to admit." Jaixe finally responded with an even voice, making a mental note of the "someone else" that Ash mentioned in passing, as if it were of no consequence to the situation at hand, or if she was hiding something in that regard.
"Do you think it is worth the effort at this time?" Jaixe inquired of Ash directly, peering into her eyes as if trying to discern her thought process. It seemed to be a test, though of what nature, that was uncertain. "You should also take into consideration our foe, we would be tracking a warrior that seems to give the Empire some measure of pause, as they have yet to recapture him. Likely, we will not be the only ones with the same task in mind either."
