Cold. Ice. That definitely matched the theme for the day. She could feel one of her eyes was possibly, no- irreparably, damaged. Her whole body restrained and a thick chill was flowing from her like some sort of fog machine. Swaths of skin likely also frost bitten. The fact that she wasn’t shivering wasn’t a good sign either.
Hanmyo, take over and try and get out. You’re the distraction now. Ururu barked before she released her grip on the body. Remember those times when you are sleep and realize you were dreaming? It’s that very realization that wakes you up? That’s what this felt like.
A distinct falling sensation-
The pain that had plagued her up until now vanished and was replaced with a new sensation. Even more cold, and stiffness. Her body was caked with a layer of snow, though it was thin, body heat melting it in places where it had contacted her skin. Her hair was pure white while her skin was chilled blue; if her finger tips were anything to go by.
Stupid, stupid, stupid! A blizzard in a sealed container? Duh!
I’ll be free in a moment… Hanmyo sent weakly, as if the very fabric of the mind was out of breath.
Without Ururu’s chakra or determination to power the body… it seemed the reality of what had been done to Clone was hitting with all the force that a normal human would be suffering from. Her mind very well could be out of breath. No matter, it would serve its purpose while Ururu came up with a new plan.
I’m out, though my vision is shit- uh Hanmyo paused, Uh… what’s he looking for?
A blink cleared her eyes of snow, a second brought light back, and a third revealed a limping metal form that was far too close for comfort and indeed searching for something. Very, very odd. A possible weakness she had missed? He was a robot after all; things could be different from people.
Ururu restrained a giggle at the thought of lost batteries, though it pierced the dark mood she still trapped in.
She didn’t think it would be batteries; more importantly right now she needed backup, Come my way, you may not be able to fight but try and get him to focus on you. Kill you if need be. The growl she got in response was of annoyed acceptance. Very annoyed. Could be worse he-
A glint of light stole back Ururu’s attention away from her realization she had assigned him a gendered pronoun.
Whatever his search, he’d found it. Just as Ururu was gaining back full sensation in her body his gaze flew past, jerked back and then locked on.
He met her eyes, and then that of her clone as the girl had inched forward and then broke into a run to try and do something. Not that Ururu expected Hanmyo could do much. Without input from a source of power, Hanmyo was as weak as any untrained human.
And- an then something in that inhuman body… gave her warning. Maybe it was the charge or something else but, he meant business.
Ururu threw herself from the cover of the snow even as her limbs still protested their treatment by the chill that had been so far reaped upon her. Toes and claws ripped the ground and commanded it to aid her cause as she literally threw herself away from the direction he was racing towards.
Apparently not enough, if the pain that crashed into her side told her anything.
Ururu swore she didn’t yelp like the little girl that she was. No she was stoic, in the face of danger focused on survival and pain. Much pain.
Force with no source no sign of existence beyond the curling and rippling of air tore into Ururu’s frame and threw her wildly end over end. At the very least it would be a bruise. But that she could handle.
Her landing also helped in that she was able to catch herself, albeit awkwardly, and disperse some of the momentum. A lighter body also saved her from being crushed under her own weight multiplied by the velocity she had been moving. Almost as if it was good for something. Almost.
Ururu didn’t waste any more time, she coursed into an attack for the first time in her own body just as Hanmyo made her last effort to be useful in grabbing the thing’s sword arm. To pin it.
