Dean uses a colt M1911A1 with an engraved slide and ivory grips. This gun was gifted to Dean at some point from his father John Winchester, and is the main pistol of choice for Dean. What would be the rate of fire on this, and about how long would it take to reload once a magazine is emptied?

It's a semi auto so the practical rate of fire is 20-30 rounds per minute, depending on how fast you can pull the trigger.

AS far as reload that generally takes seconds, just drop the mag and slap a new one in. Anything that would make it take longer or not is ease of access to new mags. So from a pocket or what not I would say average of 5 seconds. Not sure if this is what you meant/wanted?
