The whole seemed to stretch on forever, beyond any need or sense, for it was empty. Golden pillows propped up the golden ceiling, so high above that one could feel sick simply looking upwards, trying to ascertain just how far it went. This was far beyond any mortal’s ability to build.
The air itself seemed to echo with an otherworldly chime; the kind that set one not at ease but neither to discordance. What it did do is make it clear to all of them that they were somewhere beyond physicality, beyond the mundane worlds of the eight main verses.
Omni uncrossed his legs and stood up. “My, my, my. What a number of secondaries we have here. I’m proud.”
Grobdum blurted out before anyone else could speak. “Is you Omni?”
Omni’s laughter was like the chime they heard faintly in the background had come to life, jingling up and down. Was it imagination that they felt it in their minds, the heady effect of being in this strange verse? “Who else would I be?” he replied.
“I gots meself a wish for yas,” Grobdum yelled, casting his arms up as he projected his little voice as far as he could. “I’z want to have purpose! I want to live fer somefin biggah den war! I want to be more den wot I wuz made for!”
Omni’s grin looked a little strained. “I happened to listen in to the conversation you were having with that Angel outside. Raptum speaks rather a little too much.” The silhouette sighed. “Perfection is a matter of perspective. As an example of an angel who follows my will, for example, he is far less than perfect.” As Omni placed emphasis on the word, they felt something like a deep vibration in the air. “Whereas as a war machine, you’re pretty much as perfect as they get, little G.”
Grobdum blinked in response.
Quote: Okay, I did share this with Gildarts but apparently it didn't get posted as a whole. I also didn't realise you guys had reached Omni until just now, so I may have to back up a bit and delete Gildarts's last post.
THE WAY THIS WORKS
Each person will have a chance to interact with Omni one at a time. You may not post Omni's dialogue. You may ask him questions and then I will respond. Do not respond or post in between someone else posting and getting a response.
Try to keep your posts short. See what Shang and Atelos did. Essentially, don't write long monologues unless Omni is likely to sit and listen to you. Give me a chance to respond.
If nobody is online, you can call the next post again so we can have a bit of a back and forth. I'll try to respond as much and as often as possible. Obviously given the number of people this might take a week or two to get everyone satisfied but eventually I will cut you guys off.
This shouldn't just be for questions. I want you guys to interact, I want to see your reactions. If you do want to post a reaction that has nothing to do with the ongoing interactions, make that clear and that'll be fine, you don't have to "call" it.
If you do have any details of your characters you wish me to know and include, please let me know. I unfortunately haven't been able to keep up with the progress of the secondary saga so this is going to be rather impersonal in some respects but that fits Omni. However, if there are details such as you want to know the prime that summoned you, you will have to decide that and let me know so that I can include it in my role-play. Capice?
Thaal already posted Omni saying something so I'm going to let that slide and just answer it from there.
