No there are actual moves around that doubles the attack and stuff.

Do they specifically say that they double the stat? Good god man, that's far more effective than a transformation. Moves are just different ways of applying your skills and writing abilities to a situation, not a hard, numerical bonus to statistics. Combat is based around skill and narrative, not throwing numbers at numbers. Stats are simply there as a guideline.

This right here both posts is more along the lines of what I was thinking of for TEC focused moves in the future for Ururu.but Gilgamesh shot down a high specialization in blocking projectiles due to being more fodder.
