A light glowed, similar to the blue fire that had engulfed her body before they had made it to the group, however the light was merciful, and mindful of her wounds, as bit by bit, the bloody scars stitched themselves together.
Christa’s stomach nagged at her as she lead the angel back to the others, so that Raphael could heal their wounds, as he had hers.
“Pikachu!” Christa glanced at the thing that the good doctor had brought with him from the void. Intentionally or not, that thing was a harbinger of death. But she would deal with that monster later. She had bigger fish to fry.
Raphael worked his magic, Grobdum seemed to freak out -with enthusiasm, mind you- and then spoke to Christa once more, “Come now, this is not the only reason you are here.”
“You’re right. I came here to speak to Omni myself.”
The angel seemed a bit amused and smiled, “Sounds like a long journey for all of you. You will find him over there.” The angelic being pointed far in the distance. “He dwells in Valhalla.”
“One more thing, I uh... We met an angel in the Void and there was an altercation. I don’t believe he made it out.” Christa spoke responsibly, and was almost prepared for the angel to smite her, while in her hand she still clutched her only means of defense - her Beretta.
The angel seemed to nod knowingly, and did not pay the human much mind. “I will see you again, young one.” His mystical voice was all that was left, as the celestial being vanished with a bright light, leaving his voice to drift in the clouds around them.
Christa inhaled a breath, and scanned the gazes that all fell on her after the angel had gone. “Well?” she responded to their paused expressions, giving Grobdum, Richtoffen, and Top Man the once over. “Lets go.”
The group departed, their weary bones seemed less so in the airy space of the clouds. They followed lines of light that seemed like they were strung along the clouds. They strolled beyond the golden city, and floated on the clouds, yet their tattered clothing set them apart, and any angel who glanced in their direction, could tell they did not belong.
It was not a long journey, and Lyra and Raw Onion even shared a few laughs. The tension rang shrill within their minds, no one knew what to expect, and no one knew what would come with the meeting of Omni. The group could only hope that he would be negotiable. The secondaries could only hope that he would listen to their pleas.
Christa lead the mismatched group of adventurers down the great hall and the air choked in her throat as her eyes laid on Omni, sitting on his throne, notably as white as the clouds.
Quote: The second part starts now!
For the first “round” there will be a posting order. It will be by overall score, and it is as follows:
SN1: Omni can reply to this whenever/however he wants to.
SN2: those who are tied, will just be whoever posts first (or flip a coin). Keep in mind, after 24 hours, you forfeit the order and it will be passed to the next (to keep this all timely). Anyway, here it is.
Grobdum
Christa
Lyra
Klaud Nine (tie)
Isaac (tie)
Top Man
Abner (tie)
Richtofen (tie)
Captain Crow
Raw Onion
------
Once this order is fulfilled, we will revert to a first come, first serve basis. Which means: post in this thread an hour before you plan to post, and that will claim the spot for you. This will be more advisable for the following rounds, because the replies to everything will be more rapid/fast paced.
If you post to claim your ‘spot’ and after an hour you don’t post, it’ll just go to the next person. Very simple.
CAN’T WAIT TO MEET OMNI, DAWG.
Also, you may find use in this link, or at least Omni might: viewtopic.php?f=28&t=3522
