Raw walked on two legs as she wrapped a single hoof around the shoulders of Lyra. She had taken quite a beating in the battle, a rib was cracked, two of her legs were cut up. Her wings were perfectly fine as a good Pegasus soldier knew how to protect them in combat, but she didn’t quite have the energy to fly at the moment.
She wasn’t sure whom of her party she was fighting. She knew the poor soul, Pinocchio, had fallen in the combat, and that greedy funny voiced man fell too, her heart ached at the possibility that their deaths could be on her hooves. She thought to ask Lyra whom she fought while she was greedily pursuing her revenge, but she feared that the elf child would be amongst her victims.
That was something she couldn’t forgive herself for. Ignorance is bliss… sometimes.
The pair clambered through the door. Lyra had obtained some injuries as well, so the two were moving slowly. The rest of the party was close nearby.
As the depressing world of the void disappeared, Raw squinted as sunlight clouded her vision. As her eyes came into focus, the cloud landscape took shape in front of her. She thought she had taken to the skies and flown above the ceiling of the world like she had done many times before, but her wings remained motionless on her sides, and the fact that Lyra could walk on clouds as well only told her that this was no ordinary open sky.
Valhalla.
She looked over towards Lyra who quickly returned the look. Their bruised faces were quickly adorned with huge doofy grins as they pull each other into a long hug. The pair laughed in pure joy in sheer relief that their journey had finally met its end.
However, the heart touching moment was quickly interrupted by one of their allies trying to pick a fight with an angel.
