The punch coiled extending from Gildarts' core down to his heels which dug into the gravity platform's cemented force. Then with a few ambling steps the crash mage tossed up the rusted, sun-faded sign and upon its decent, smashed his fist into it unleashing a wave of disintegrating crash magic.
The movement was nothing flashy, initially but you could accurately call Gildarts one punch man's brother without being that far-fetched. The billboard disintegrated into particles Gildarts could no longer see. The Prime smacked his hands together, cleaning them off from the metallic scent that had wiped off on them, and casually leapt back through the sky and peered into the Ferris wheel's gondola lift looking for Molly who was standing on the intact boardwalk and waving at him.
"Wha? Did I miss the ride?" Gildarts hopped back down from his gravity formed step, looking up at the wheel that Molly had gotten off.
"Well... Yeah, but I got a great view of you blowing up that billboard from the top! It was amazing!" Molly said with a girlish squeak.
"The... Uh, view is meant to be the only fun part of the ride?" Gildarts concluded, trying to piece together what other people seem to enjoy, much like an alien coming from a foreign planet with much less finer forms of entertainment.
"Sharing the view with good company actually," Molly pointed out and then realized that might fall flat on his ears. "But uh... I got to watch you save those people and stuff! Plus that punch was great! Bam!"
Molly's hand formed into a first and swatted at the air, "Ha!"
Gildarts stood perplexed, "So I didn't completely ruin your ride Molly?"
"Nope! You saved the people on the teacups that was even better!" She said cheerily, "Had you not been there right then it would've been a tragedy."
Molly sighed, honestly she couldn't expect Gildarts to ever be truly normal, he could do normal things, but she had kind of expected him to break the Ferris wheel with his first step inside. They'd at least gotten a quarter up before Gildarts had to bail. More than she had expected. While Primes certainly could act normally at times, but the most normal Gil had gotten at that task was when he was sleeping, or eating. And well, he couldn't even do those things "right" all the time.
Regardless, Gildarts was still trying to do right, and that was what mattered most to Molly.
"So what did you wanna do next?" Gildarts asked the youth. Appeasing children for a long amount of time was never his forté. He'd played catch with Natsu... But after a short time broke the ball. That was pretty much the analogy for the rest of his encounters. Kids loved him, but he always had to limit his time around them. It was bad to kill an adult, but worse to kill a child who had yet to form his own individual opinion of what this life was about, and just what they were willing to fight for.
"Cotton candy." Molly pronounced with vigor.
Gildarts blinked. "Cotton Candy?"
"You know... It's like candy in form of cotton?" Molly explained, her index finger tapping her chin as she thought of how to explain it.
"Hm. Well that sounds great! But you can't eat co-"
"It isn't actual cotton, Gildarts." Molly said with a roll of her eyes.
"Oh," Gildarts rubbed the back of his next embarrassedly.
Molly smiled. This was yet again one of those things. Maybe she'd manage to teach him how to be somewhat normal, "They don't have it where you're from?"
That was a fishing question. Gildarts practically winced. Especially after his dream... The dragon of death... Cana dying in his arms, or rather, being ripped apart in his arms.
The memory stung with pain but Gildarts did not let his pain foil his outward composure. Cotton candy sounded like bliss. Molly lead them over to the little cart with the cylindrical device with wisps of pink cloud coming out.
"It's pink," Gildarts observed.
"Well that proves you aren't color blind," Molly said with her classic sass.
"That's just one flavor sir! But we also have blue and I could even make rainbow! How many will it be?" The man in the tacky outfit asked.
"Five," Molly leapt in, interrupting.
"There's only two of us," Gildarts observed.
"Well, Piqui and Pinkie Pie are probably done surfing, and you came here with that one tall shirtless guy," Molly observed with a blush. "I think it would be sweet to bring him one too. Eh hem, anyway, that makes five, see?"
"..." Gildarts blinked again and then realized, "Hey where did Dust go anyway?"
"That's his name? So cool!" Molly's first crush. So cute. Funny how he's even running a kissing booth...
"Here you go sir," The man handed him a tray of little condensed cones of fluffy sweetness, "On the house, since you saved my entire cart from being crushed. Thank you very much sir. You're a Prime right?"
"Yes." Gildarts agreed stoically.
"Do you think you could grant me a wish?" The man requested.
"Well I'm not some sort of genie..." Gildarts frowned. "But I can try to help."
"Gildarts do it for more free cotton candy," Molly whispered.
"Uh... It depends the task..." Gildarts was feeling awfully awkward. He was finally coherent and now he was realizing how many people had their own incentives for what they did. Molly wanted free cotton candy. This guy gave it to them for free to get something too. He wouldn't call it evil, rather they were both opportunists, but thinking this clear was rather depressing.
The older man pulled Gildarts off to the side and whispered in his ear, secret from Molly, "Now I know they make them in Dalaran, but I've never been able to afford one, I want a potion of youth. I pull my back out every day I push my cart on this boardwalk and serve everyone ice cream. I want a second chance, my pursuits are noble. Promise."
The man gave him a greasy smile. Gildarts didn't like the look of him. Now more than ever, Gildarts wished he could appraise the nobility of a man by simply looking at him. But that would require telepathy, something Gildarts could never gain, much less control along with his other power.
"Listen, I'm sure you're a nice guy and all, but if you really want something that important from me, you'll have to prove you won't use it for evil." Ah precautions. Interesting how this announcement from Gildarts' had delivered this man into an angry roar.
"Listen pal, I've wasted my entire life since I got here to this hell, making a living serving goddam cotton candy! I want more, I want everything you have! As a prime you take everything you have for granted! And now I ask for a measly potion so I can make something of myself here in this world and you deny me?!" Gildarts frowned as the cotton candy salesmen had proven to be some sort of a bad egg.

Meanwhile...
Molly had taken the trays of cotton candy and was strolling along the boardwalk, away from the grouchy secret keeping old men. That was when her heart leapt. She caught a glimpse of a man in a tent.
Sable hair. Shirtless with ripped abs. Adorable features. It was him. Dust. The letters above him were organized to say 'Kissing Booth' Molly was ten years old and it was time she popped that cherry.
The girl approached with hesitation to find Dust was already blushing. When what looked like a younger version of Tamsin approached, he looked at her not expecting a kid to want the services he'd advertised.
She placed a cotton candy in the tip jar as she licked at another, "You're Dust, right?"
Play it cool Molly, she coached herself, You don't want you cheeks looking like tomatoes when you kiss him.
"S-sure am, hi there, should I know your name?" Dust spoke to the little blonde girl who looked like a mini Tamsin.
"I'm Molly," she said, "And I know your name because of my special gifts and connection. Is one cotton candy enough to barter for a kiss?"
"O-oh, is your parents okay with that?" Dust wasn't sure how old this little girl was. He wanted to make sure everything was legal and he wasn't breaking the law.
"I'm older than I look, the Omniverse is like that sometimes. And my real parents are dead. Sooo..." Molly trailed off.
"Oh no! I'm very sorry to hear that!" Dust was overcome with sympathy, but now he had to warm up his lips, because she was in need of his services.
"It's okay, like I said I'm older than I look, it was a long time ago. I have a big family now with all sorts of people," she informed him with a smile as her hands extended as though she would hug a grizzly bear to help demonstrate the size of her family.
Whether or not Molly had also meant they were obese was another story, maybe they were giants, the Omniverse was a strange place after all.
"So do you like cotton candy? And will it buy me a kiss?" She blushed now, unable to contain herself.
"Hmm... Is it super mega delicious!?" Dust said with a wink.
"It sure is!" She smiled from ear to ear.
"Wellll... I guess you've convinced me. Plus you're adorable!" Dust smiled and Molly closed her eyes. Dust plunged in for a respectable kiss, since she looked like Tamsin and a little girl, he had to keep it classy.
The moment for Molly was magical. Their lips collided sweetly and sparks flew like fireworks sending a rush of joy throughout her body. She felt the warmth reach her toes and her face was cherry red.
Dust's too.
