A Birthday Party for Molly
#24
To many, it looked like Pinkie was just enjoying the festivities, but in reality, she was just checking on everything. She knew better than anyone that keeping up appearances was more important to a party than anything. She rode the rides, enjoyed the food, bounced the houses, but inside her head was the inner working of a party scientist.

By noon, she had tried everything, which according to her calculations, was exactly the time the inner workings of the party mechanism would need her expertise.

She dashed her way to the town square where the presents were being piled, and one more addition was being added. Because slowly, and carefully, something huge, something towering, was heading that direction.

To the visitors that happened to be in the square, she appeared as if she had been teleporting. The baby dragon nearly toppled over in surprise.

‘Oh, it’s you Pinkie.’ He said, climbing to his stubby little feet as he wiped the dust off hImself. “Heh, you’d think I’d be used to that with Twilight and all.”

“Sorry, Spike! But I’m just super excited for the big #1 masterpiece!” Exclaimed Pinkie as she bounce up and down and then floated in circles in the air on the word ’masterpiece.’

“You don’t consider the bounce mansion #1?” Questioned Spike, cocking a flab of scales that would have been his eyebrow if he were any other species.

Suddenly, Pinkie landed on the ground and jabbed a hoof forward in the air.

“Ooh! Ooh! Here it comes!”

The usagi sisters approached, and riding besides them on a large food cart was a cake that stood precariously on 11-layers, every inch covered in rainbow-colored icing.

“Ahhhh yeah!” Sang out Pinkie gleefully as she slapped on a pair of shades. “This party just got kicked up a notch!”
