After a fair bit of walking, Inlumia came to the stone gate that led to Camelot and checked it out. It was made from hewn stone, but structurally sound in it's own right. Too many people made portal opening that needed magic to support them. It was a sign of bad craftsmanship, and meant the portal was not properly anchored.
Pushing those thoughts aside he knocked on the stone on his side of the portal out of politeness.
When he got no response he entered the portal.
