Warnings flashed in his helmet’s Heads Up Display of a rising electrical charge in the air, this accompanied by the hairs on his neck standing on end made Alexander hesitate for a few seconds. It became apparently clear to the Atlean that there was much more to this individual who had the Stormtrooper held hostage than he initially thought. He secretly dreaded what secret super powers the Goat person was hiding, but he had a feeling he would find out soon enough. His train of thought suddenly and spectacularly derailed as a stray bolt of lightning came within mere centimetres of the right side of his face plate only to dissipate just as sudden behind him. Alexander slowly looked behind his back with a nervous chuckle before returning his attention to the Electrical Shaman. Truly this day was not to be his lucky, nor sanest of days.
Alexander listened to Shu and the Stormtrooper, considering their words he concluded that this situation was a mere misunderstanding gone moderately wrong. But he was relieved that a peaceful resolution was still possible after all. With that in mind, he clicked the safety primer to the on position, collapsed the frame of the rifle and placed it on the armour plating on his back. Mag locks held it in place to the armour plating on his back leaving one less gun pointed at the Shaman. Clasping his hands together he turned his gaze upon the Stormtroopers, then to the Goat person and finally the Electrical Shaman and his hostage.
“If what these soldiers are saying is true, then what we have here ladies and gents is a, minor, misunderstanding went wrong. But one that can still be corrected.” Alexander started, looking at the squad of Stormtroopers and Su. A chance to gain beneficial knowledge had just revealed itself and Alexander decided that now was the time to seize it. While he was no diplomat in any sense of the word, the Atlean knew that he and these two individuals needed every advantage they could get. Including Intelligence gathering, something he was familiar with all too well in his universe.
“Troopers, Su, I suggest a trade. Su, you give back their comrade, and in return, you troopers share whatever intel you have on this place, what are Primes, the basics since clearly some magical shit is going on, and don’t skim on the details. Deal?” The Atlean bargained with the Stormtrooper squad and Su. It was clear as day the opportunity to gain vital information about their surroundings was right in front of them. Alexander just hoped the Shaman played ball, trusting him not to kill the hostage when he was trying to save their lives. After all, he was still young; he hated the idea of dying before he can figure out what was going on and found a way to get home. If there was a way to return to the Frontier, then he was determined to take it.
