"You know.... I should probably take inventory....." I say aloud to myself. I step off the path and sit. I touch my middle finger with my thumb and the hollo-screen if my HandPad comes to life. "What is Dataverse conection?", I ask seeing a wired symbol that seems to signify my signal strength, but it looks like someone mashed a phone signal meter and a Wi-fi symbol. "This looks nothing like my old GUI", I mutter as I scroll through my HandPad, " Let's check the email" I say under my breath. I open it up and see that even my email changed! 'Is that Omni for real'?, my new email reads, Connor.Hound@Omni.Dataverse.me, "Wow...." I shake my head and turn off my HandPad the same way I turned it on. I stand up and reach for a pistol in a holster that was on my right thigh, but it's gone? "Where's Laocyön?" I say in a startled voice "In fact I don't even feel the weight of Fenir or Kerberos.... Crap I must have left them on that roof! I didn't die with them so I don't have them!" I make that conclusion "Maybe I can make them...but I don't think that I have enough of that Omnilium stuff...." I reach with my right instinctively and I feel Lupa's grip "Well at least I have a weapon....Lupa is still a good gun, well....in my hands at least"
