Summoning Your Inner Writer

Lots of stuff. As people have said, music's a big one. Sometimes the theme and feel of a song will inspire an idea for my characters (my next post as Orion I'm planning is inspired by a song). But sometimes seeing other things just unearths ideas in my head. For instance:



This is an old sig made for Orion on Chubbs, and it inspired the entire second half of Orion's past. I just saw how it was built and my head took all the pieces to make something from it. That's probably one of my favourite parts about writing; how inspiration can hit randomly and with only a gentle push.
