Daxter wasn't about to push his luck with Victor and his "associates". Daxter's anger was turned inward as he ran toward Jak's dune buggy, without looking back. Jak... I'm sorry pal... I couldn't save you...

He gritted his teeth as Victor rubbed salt in his wound and threatened his life. He couldn't do anything now.

Daxter hopped in the dune buggy and pushed the petal down, placing his goggles on his eyes. He needed to find Torn, clearly and explain his situation. Torn was not going to like what happened. It was going to be the hard part explaining to Torn what had happened to his friend without bursting out crying once again.

Of course, Torn never saw eye to eye with him in the first place. Daxter didn't hesitate and covered his mouth. Hell, if Victor and the others could pull shit on him and Jak again, he would get them back personally... Him and Jak...

Such a hard feat for a Ottsel to drive a giant dune buggy by himself, but he had trained himself well.

Jak had shown him how to drive it.

Daxter closed his eyes and squeezed his fist "Jak was too trusting of them, why didn't he listen to me?!"

The dune buggy zoomed off from the middle of the wastelands toward the Twisted greens. It was hard being a lone ottsel in a big big world called life.

It was quiet, way way too quiet.. for Daxter's liking. But he'd tell Torn first and then go back to the Nexus. Would Victor be right? What if Jak did come back at the Nexus?
