NEW PRIMES FLOCK TO CORUSCANT! EPD TAKING ON ASSISTANCE

Week two of the Empire's security crackdown on Tier 1 of Coruscant is proving to set up to be quite an event. After a small quarrel between two fresh Primes in Retanda Park on Tier 1 ended with and execution and arrest, things remained largely quiet. Despite their reservations regarding the new, more rigorous security protocols in the Steel City, many citizens were beginning to feel optimistic about their day to day safety once more.

In recent days, however, Coruscant has seen a vast influx of Primes into the city, which has not gone without its complications. No less than three incidences of disobediance of Empire authority at the main gate from the Nexus have spurred the EPD into a nearly schizophrenic frenzy of monitoring and reconnoisance. Again, though they are hesitant to detain all Primes immediately upon entrance to the Verse, this plan of action has been proposed at recent EPD board meetings.

With the new plan in place, all Primes entering the City would be placed under Empire custody and be given a thorough security check before being released into the Empire's home verse, or, deported back to the Nexus. Emperor Palpatine himself has been rather quiet on the entire subject, but official documentation indicates that this potential policy might have more weight than not.

In the meantime, the EPD has stepped up its recruitment efforts for Prime law officers, and is offering an open invitation to all would-be vigilantes in the city to enroll with the proper authorities. Empire presence in the Nexus has also been reported as increasing substantially, with armored patrols now roaming in the stretch of land between the Fountain of Infinity and Coruscant's main gate. The Voyager would like to stress that any and all disobediance on Tier 1 of Coruscant will, at present, be punished severely.

Camelot Prison Ransacked! Prime activity suspected.

Just yesterday, Carrion Cliff prison in Camelot was found to be in cinders after a call for backup was placed late during the night before. The reinforcements arrived on the scene to find the entire jail abandoned of any life, with the final embers of a great fire still burning in the early morning mist.

Investigating the ruins, Camelot wizards deduced that no prisoners died in the liberating conflagration, leading to initial beliefs that, perhaps, the imprisoned population had been freed so as to escape a fiery fate. These theories were dispelled when the corpses of nearly the entire regiment of the resident guardsmen were found. Some were even found shackled to the iron bars of the very jail cells they were assigned to monitor, and though their bodies were blackened to ashes, there was suitable evidence to indicate that many had died of weapon wounds before the fire started.

Carrion Cliff has always had an impeccable record for security, as many of Camelot's most vilified enemies were incarcerated there. Though the keep's records were lost in the fire, official reports claimed that a Prime had been transferred to the facility before the mass escape. The Camelot guard is now patrolling the countryside east of Minas Tirith heavily, searching for the escaped convicts, as well as anyone with information related to the incident. Travelers in this area are advised to be wary of any strange individuals the may encounter, and are encouraged to report to the Guard with any information that may lead to an arrest.

Boat Theft on the Rise in the Deeps!

Costa Del Sol is well known for being one of the nicest places to visit within the Omniverse. Though it is monitered and secured by the Empire, their presence is welcome in fending off many of the pirates that roam the deeps. This, in conjunction with a vibrant shipping industry, keep the island a happy and ideal place to live and relax. As such, it's no wonder that many choose to keep their seagoing vessels moored at the city marina.

Unfortunately, it would seem that this area of the city is lacking when it comes to Empire secury, since, within the past month alone, there have been over four boats stolen from their piers; some even in broad daylight. At least two of these instances were known to be perpetrated by Prime thieves, but others are more ambiguous in their nature.

Regardless, the EPD garrison on Costa Del Sol has vowed to increase trooper patrols in the area in the hopes of keeping the island an ideal tourist hotspot. This promise may have come too late, as many Deeps residents have chosen to relocate their vessels to other ports for safekeeping.

Primes Come Calling to the Koopa Kingdom!

The Ashen Steppes are, by far, considered to be the least pleasant place to be in the entire Omniverse, though travelers in the Frozen Fields are often eager to dispute this. No matter which side of the argument you fall on, it can generally be agreed that volcanoes and dragons are hard enough to deal with on their own. Add bandits to that mix, and it's a wonder anyone bothers with the place.

As such, it is a small miracle that a group of Primes has seen fit to travel to the Koopa Kingdom to aid in the murder-killing of a particularly foul gang of bandits. What about these raiders warrants the attention of five Primes, you ask? The answer, as usual for the Steppes, is dragons. By methods unknown, the bandits in question have somehow managed to tame a pack of the violent beasts to serve as their aerial mounts, enabling them to raid ore caravans in the blink of an eye and escape with impunity.

Reports currently indicate that the bandit-killers have safely made their way into the territory of the Koopa Kingdom, so it is with great optimism that we hope they are able to address the situation soon. Doubly so, because there has been quite the buzz around the Dataverse regarding the plans of the enigmatic revolutionary known as Nealaphh, and their intentions for Volvagia. Whether or not these two happenings are related is unknown, but what we can say is that things in the Steppes may soon get much better...

...or, much much worse.
