I try to incorporate a variety of race and body types into what I write, but then again, I don't often go out of my way to try and make sure black people are described as black, unless they're a main character and I'm doing a profile. (Racial Profiling lol).
But in all seriousness, I do feel like the general assumption about a character's appearance, if it's not specified explicitly, is that they are caucasian of some kind. This is not generally the image I have in my head, but on top of that, the number of white ambigu-casian characters in contrast to racial/ethnic characters tends to be tipped towards the pale.
Reviewing the Roster in the Omniverse, there is not a single humanblack prime (except maybe Black Mage annd maaaaaybe Ganondorf?). The largest minority group represented, if we're assuming all the anime characters are japanese, is represented by asians. However, should people start making black, human primes just to even the status quo? Maybe it would be a nice sentiment, but I don't think self-imposed affirmative summoning would wash away things as they are now.
One of my secondaries is black, and Nealaphh USED to be a black human (but I'm not gonna count that.) Maybe we can't equalize the prime roster, but I do think writers can start to make an effort to mention additional races in their posts.

And, we dream of home I dream of life out of here Their dreams are small My dreams don't know fear I got my heart full of hope I will change everything No matter what I'm told How impossible it seems We did it before And we'll do it again We're indestructible Even when we're tired And we've been here before Just you and I
