“Dude, what the fuck are you doing?” A sharp voice pierced through the murmur of the crowd. Just a few meters from Clownpiece was a rather fit brown-haired man, standing tall and ready to fight as he threw an accusation that was music to the hell fairy’s ears.
“What am I doing?” Came a harsh retort from a second man, who kicked up sand as he stormed forward. “You’re the one who fucking came over here and started causing problems.” A smile spread across the face of the torch bearing girl as the two slowly squared up, drawing closer and closer.
“What in the actual hell are you talking about?” They were almost right up in each other’s faces now, tempers flaring and just about ready to start swinging. The lunatic fairy turned away from them, smugly satisfied with the results. When those two finally snapped, that would be the third fight. Three brawls, all caused by the light of her torch, and still no one had noticed. She slowly walked away, bare feet sliding through the sand and the sounds of anger flaring up even louder behind her. Her eyes slowly scanned over the beach, sizing up each and every person who could possibly be affected by her torch. Three were done, and there was still a lot to go.
Clownpiece trudged to a halt, the grin on her face slowly falling into a frown. Sure, toying with their hearts and making them fight was nice, fun, and simple, but it felt unimaginative. She held her torch up just in front of her face, and stared deeply into its maddening magenta light. There were other forms of madness than just anger and irrationality, she was sure of it. But what?
The flame of her torch flared to life as inspiration struck, and a devilish smile spread across the infernal fae’s face. There was an old punishment from hell that fit the bill, something usually inflicted upon serial killers and mass murders. She dropped the torch to her side and quickly looked over all the beachgoers again, before singling out a large, tattooed man. He looked like a killer, which would make him easy to guilt-trip. She snuck within range of him, discreetly putting herself within his line of sight, and waved her torch around like she was just playing with it, before moving back out of sight. She plopped herself into the sand a few meters behind him, and subtly stared at him.
“Hello,” the hell fairy whispered, focusing on a point on his shoulder. The man practically jumped out of his skin, falling on his side as he desperately turned to face whoever had snuck up on him. “Hello,” she repeated unsteadily, a giggle rising up in her chest as she threw her voice at the sand next to his head. He reeled back, throwing up sand as he scrambled away from the disembodied voice. “It’sfff-” her voice caught just as the word passed her lips, cut off by a laugh. She shifted her position, bringing her knees up to her chest, before burying her face in her legs, chest heaving as she desperately tried to hold her laughter. Off in the distance, the man, pale as a sheet, scurried off the beach, throwing terrified glances over his shoulder.
